About Us

Yadkin Valley Gymnastics Academy has been serving the community of Wilkes County and surrounding counties in North Carolina for nearly 20 years. We are a unique organization that combines our love for gymnastics with a nurturing and educational environment. We endeavor to present gymnastics in a fun, but structured format and place emphasis on the fundamentals as well as technique so that each student is better prepared for skill progression in the safest and most successful manner. Several of our coaching staff have participated in gymnastics safety certification courses, as well as teacher education courses, and are all trained beneath senior, experienced staff members.

 

We offer recreational and competitive gymnastics programs in our facility, complete with standard-size gymnastics equipment and training accessories, including but not limited to: vault, uneven bars, parallel bars, balance beams, spring floor, tumble trak, and in-ground foam pit. Our recreational gymnastics program includes leveled and age-based classes building up to our competitive team program.

 

Occasionally, we offer special events/classes open to both members & non-members of our regular programs, such as: Open Gyms, Birthday Parties, Parents' Night Out, Lock-Ins, & Special Needs Classes.
